Bariloche... bizarro B.C.
The first thing we noticed upon arriving in Bariloche was all of the snow covered mountains. It had been years since I had seen a mountain so I was pretty excited, especially when we had booked a hostel boasting one of the best views there. Once again, I was expecting to need more than just my windbreaker but the weather surprised us one more time. It was sunny yet cool, perfect sweater weather....

Puerto Madryn... Land of the Whales
We left Mar del Plata well rested and ventured south to Puerto Madryn. We all expected to get off the bus and need wool sweaters but we were pleasantly surprised with 20 °C weather. Mar del Plata... bizarro Florida
So we left the big city for a sleepy beach town 6 hours south. It´s spring here so the weather is far too cold to go swimming, much less sunbathe. The waves are pretty good and the water is lined with surfers decked out in their wet suits. It makes me really want to go surfing but waiting a month is not so bad.
